
Elizabeth A. Holden
Associate
Elizabeth guides clients on complex environmental regulatory issues relating to water, wetlands, and the development and management of beaches and coastal properties. She routinely counsels public and private entities environmental requirements, including NEPA, ESA, and other state and federal permitting requirements. She has successfully litigated permit challenges at the administrative, trial, and appellate levels. Elizabeth has also represented public water providers in the ACF and ACT River Basin litigation.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Harvard College and Vanderbilt University Law School, where she served as the Editor in Chief of the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review and received the John A. Cortner Championship Award in Moot Court. After graduation, Elizabeth served as a law clerk to Emily C. Marks of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
Before joining Jones Fortuna, Elizabeth was an associate in King & Spalding’s Environmental, Health, and Safety group.
