Ari Gordin joined Jones Fortuna as an associate attorney in November 2023. Ari brings a wealth of deep scientific training, including a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering and real-world work experience as an environmental engineer for first-of-a-kind industrial projects.

Ari’s practice focuses on regulatory and litigation matters involving complex technical issues. Ari has supported state and federal permitting of environmentally sensitive infrastructure projects, has provided counselling to non-federal sponsors of major U.S. Corps of Engineers projects, and has assisted in numerous successful environmental-related litigation matters. He also possesses deep knowledge of state environmental and administrative law.

Before joining Jones Fortuna, Ari was an associate in the Environmental, Health and Safety group at King & Spalding LLP. He was also a Fulbright Fellow in Santiago, Chile.
