Elizabeth is an associate focusing on environmental litigation, permitting, compliance, and enforcement.
Elizabeth has experience defending Clean Water Act citizen suits for private parties and litigating NPDES permit challenges for municipalities. She has experience with water and other environmental media permitting issues; Endangered Species Act requirements; water supply storage reallocation efforts; and water rights disputes.
Before joining Jones Fortuna, Elizabeth clerked for Chief Judge Emily C. Marks of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. She was also an associate in the Environmental, Health and Safety group at King & Spalding LLP, where she focused on environmental litigation, regulatory advice, and environmental mass tort defense.
